RESIDENTIAL BUILDING
Project: Block of houses in the neighborhood of Gros, Donostia

Location: Secundino Esnaola Street in Nafarroa Behera Square, Gros
The only requirement to fulfill in the project has been to maintain the current access to the C/General Artetxe, for it the projected building is attached to the existing dividing wall and flies a 5 by 7 meter high corridor on the street.
With the volumetry achieved, filled with 7.2 meters and with spans of 5, which are used to make terraces for each house, the street is divided, instead of making a continuous block like the existing ones and with the difference in height of each block further breaks the continuity break.
To carry out the internal organization, the Unité D'Habitation of Le Corbusier has been used and the same scheme has been followed: a gallery, in this case open due to fire regulations and its duplex housing on both sides, in this way it is possible to realize a single core of communication and lower costs. Also, due to accessibility requirements, it has a single-story home next to the elevator.
